Sheila E. Jones

Sheila E. Jones, age 60 of Peach Bottom, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren and partner.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Phyllis Mae Jennings Jones.  Sheila loved music and dancing, playing Texas Hold'em, spending time with her family and helping others any way she could.  Surviving is her companion Curtis Johnson, Sr. of Peach Bottom, 4 children; Amanda Haldeman companion of James Chambers of Holtwood, Courtney Haldeman companion of Aaron Greggor of Peach Bottom, Curtis Johnson, Jr. fiancee of Ashley Breniser of Peach Bottom, Lizzie Johnson companion of Teddy Kidwell of York County, 6 grandchildren; Isabella Chambers, Alex and Everleigh Greggor, Paisley and Jaxon Johnson, Hudson Kidwell and 2 brothers; Walter L., Jr. husband of Patricia Jones of Port Deposit, MD, and David M. husband of Judy Jones of Port Deposit, MD.  She was preceded in death by a grandson Curtis Johnson, III.

A funeral service will be held at Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom, on Wednesday, June 25th at 1 p.m. with a viewing and visitation time from 12 p.m. until the time of service.  Pastor R. Blake Deibler will be officiating.  Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
