Richard "Rick" S. Zook

Richard S. "Rick" Zook, age 68 of Strasburg, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital.  He was the husband of Sharon Buch Zook for 39 years.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Aaron Jr. and Ruth Wolff Zook.  Rick was a long time member of The Worship Center and more recently attended Wesley United Methodist in Strasburg.  He worked as a milk hauler for Dean Landis and retired from Brothers Liquid Transport.  In his free time, Rick loved going camping at the beach and fishing.  Surviving besides his wife Sharon are 2 children; Arika Zook of KY and Andrew Zook of Lititz and a brother; Ron, husband of Kathy Zook of Paradise.

A funeral service will take place at Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, on Friday, January 30th at 2 p.m.  Traditional interment will be in the Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Rick's honor to the Humane League of Lancaster County.
