Kathryn W. Ebersole

Kathryn W. Ebersole, age 97, went to meet her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on May 10, 2026. She was the wife of the late John H. Ebersole, who was called to his heavenly home on June 10, 2008. They had 58 happy years together. She was the third daughter of the late Michael N. & Jennie S. Wenger Wenger. She was a member of the Mellinger Mennonite Church. Kathryn & John were married on June 10, 1950 and they were blessed with 6 children: John D. (Carol Smoker), Jay D. (Linda Hershey, deceased) (Elma Engle Zehr), Mary L. Engel - deceased (Elvin), Dale L. (Barb Harnish), Cynthia E. Blank (Andy) & Daryl L. (Brenda Peifer). Through the years she loved her family which includes 16 grandchildren, and she recently met her 35th great grandchild. She also enjoyed crocheting, flowers, singing & listening to old-time hymns, and reading & memorizing favorite scriptures. After her children were in school, she worked part-time at Willow Valley, LMS, and Provident Bookstores. She is survived by 2 sisters: Anna Huber & Marti Harnish (Bob) as well as a brother, Paul Wenger (Elsie). Sisters & brothers that passed on before her are: Mabel, Grace, Laura, Bertha, Norman, Mary, Michael, Edna & Esther.

A celebration of Kathryn's life will take place at Fairmount Homes Chapel, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, PA on Wednesday, June 24th at 1:30 p.m.  Pastor Dan Cloyd will be officiating. Traditional interment took place prior to the service at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
