James E. Martin

James E. "Jim" Martin, age 88 of Christiana, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. He was the husband of the late Emma E. Reimold Martin. He was born in Delaware County, PA. Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Stewart Martin. Jim proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his twin brother Joseph E. Martin, 2 sons: James E. II, husband of Tamela Meshey Martin of Strasburg, and Charles J., husband of Anita Brubaker Martin of Manheim Township, 3 grandchildren, Michelle R. Martin, John E. and David J. Martin, and 2 great granddaughters, Tiayna and Tyaira. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella Louise Martin. Funeral service will take place from Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA 17509, on Wednesday, April 8th at 11 am with a viewing from 10 am until time of service. Interment will be in the Longenecker's Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's honor to a charity of your choice.
