Wilson Edward Weeks, Sr.

On April 1st 2021, the world lost a good man.  That is how he would want to be remembered by all who knew and loved him.  He was simply a good man.  Wilson Edward Weeks Sr. of New Providence, Pa. is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Ruth, and four children.  His first born and namesake Wilson Weeks Jr. of Honeybrook, Pa.  His only daughter and go to problem solver Candice Davis, wife of his bonus son Sandy of Lancaster, Pa.  His artistic and ambitious son Derek Weeks, husband of Heather of Waynesboro Pa, and his youngest son and best friend Sean Weeks of New Providence.  He also leaves as gifts to this world the joy of his grandchildren:  Morgan, Connor, Lila, Logan and Stella.  He is survived by his sister Barbara Pearson, wife of Timothy of Bentonville, Va., his aunt Betty Jean Rittenour of Leesburg, VA. and many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Leona Weeks.

Wilson worked for decades as a finish carpenter before retiring.  When he wasn't spending time with his family,  he enjoyed fishing and going to yard sales and auctions.  Those who knew him well, loved him.  He never met a stranger and his loss will be felt by many.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
