William H. Schiefer, age 74 of Gordonville, PA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  He was the husband of N. Louise Gaugler Schiefer, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on April 10th.  Born in Pittsburgh, son of the late Hiram & Teresa McPartland Schiefer.  He served in the Air Force from 1970-1974, during the Vietnam War, stationed in England and Germany.  He graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Geneva College and then from Phoenix University with a Masters Degree.  He worked for the Unisys Corp.  as Facilities Manager retiring in 2015.  He volunteered at the Freedom Thrift Store of New Holland.  He enjoyed collecting Lionel trains and was a car enthusiast.  Surviving besides his wife are 2 sons:  Scott Schiefer husband of Tricia Pettitt of Henderson, Nevada, Darren husband of Jennifer Lininger Schiefer of Leola, 4 grandchildren: Julian, Zachary, Mikyla and Karsyn.

There will be a Service of Remembrance and luncheon on Saturday, January 13 at 12 noon at Limeville Church, 5783 Limeville Road, Gap.
