William G. "Bill" Reinhart, 81 of Quarryville, PA died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown, PA. He and his wife, Betty A. Griffith Reinhart celebrated 31 years of marriage.Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Forrest and Ida Rice Reinhart.
Bill retired from Whitelock & Woerth after 35 years of service as a fuel truck delivery man.
He was a member of Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church.
Bill also served his country as a peacetime veteran in the US Army.
Surviving beside his wife Betty are 3 children, James Reinhart, John Reinhart, and Susan Reinhart; 4 grandchildren, Gracie Reinhart, twins James & Christopher Reinhart, and Austin Reinhart; a step daughter, Machele A. wife of Charles A. Varady; a step grandson Garrett A. Varady; a step great grandson Cooper; 2 brothers, Paul Reinhart and Forrest Reinhart, Jr.
Bill was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Donald Reinhart, Park Reinhart, George Reinhart, Irene Wanner, and Faye Lefever.
Funeral services will be held at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00AM with Rev. Douglas Hileman officiating.Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service.Kindly omit flowers.Contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the Solanco Food Bank, 355 Buck Road, Quarryville, PA 17566.
