William H. Bruhns, age 90 of Willow Street, formally of Long Island, NY, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born in Oyster Bay, NY, son of the late Henry G. & Louise C Herzog Bruhns.  He worked as an electrical engineer for many electric laboratories on Long Island and especially enjoyed his work in research and development in communications & radio. He was also active in early computer science applications in electronics. He is survived by 2 sons: David, husband of Rhonda Bruhns of Long Island, NY, James Bruhns, husband of Lisa Amaral of Seattle, WA, 3 grandchildren: Sara Bruhns wife of Evan Boyle of Seattle, WA, Nicole Bruhns wife of Jordan Mays-Rowland of Seattle, WA, Ronald Beatty of Cairo, NY, and 3 great grandchildren: Luna, Alara, Stella, and 1 more on the way.  Services will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Willow Valley Benevolence Fund, 1000 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584.
