Wayne M. Pfeil

Wayne M. Pfeil, 75, of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness.He was born in Hazleton, PA and was preceded in death by his parents, Carl N. Pfeil and Ruth M. Braun.Preceded also by a grandson, Dennis Walters.Wayne was very passionate about his stock car racing, having raced at Grandview Speedway, Susquehanna Speedway and Bridgeport. After retiring from racing he continued his love for it by supporting his son on his pit crew.He retired from Wyeth Laboratories after 36 years of service.Wayne is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 38 years, Linda F. Pfeil.Wayne was a proud and loving father to his children; Lois Swift and husband Brian Swift of Coatesville, PA, Shani Hash and husband Josh Hash of Elverson, PA, Wayne Pfeil of Mohnton, PA, Lois Cox and husband David Cox of Broadway, VA, Barbara Bolay and husband Warren Bolay of Coatesville, PA.He is also survived by ten grandchildren Kelly, Brian, David, Dawn, Blake, Rob, Caitlin, DJ, Dylan, and Tyler, as well as three great grandchildren James, Brianna, and Weston. Wayne is also survived by 2 sisters, Sandra Martinez, Oro Valley, AZ, and Melode Devenport, Murphy, TX.A service will be held on Saturday September 24,2016. Friends and family will be received from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State St., Quarryville, PA17566.
