V. Larraine Franklin

V. Larraine Franklin, age 89, of New Providence passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late David C. Franklin. The most important thing in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by 3 children: Kim F. , wife of Harry Thompson of MD, Donna C., wife of Daniel Fisher of Florida, David Jr. husband of Stephanie Franklin of NC, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild with 1 more on the way. She was preceded in death by a brother James Sullivan, and a sister, Irma "Janie".

Funeral service will take place from Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, of Tuesday, February 10th at 11am with a time to greet the family from 10-11am. Interment will be in the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
