Obituary

Tina M. Volz, 59 of Holtwood, PA, passed away June 25, 2015.She was the wife of Joseph S. Volz. They had celebrated 35 years of marriage.
Tina was born in Lancaster, a daughter of Esther Groff Murphy of Millersville, and the late Marvin Murphy.
Tina was a fiber artist, creating custom knitting and weaving.
She was a member of Apple Seeds, a preteen girl's instruction group. She was active in scouting, serving as; Boy Scout den leader, committee member, district member at large, district council training, Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, staff the Woods Bridge course. She was a member of Woods Bridge andOrder of the Arrow.
She was also a member of the NRA, Red Rose Spinner and Weavers Guild, and Quilting on the Line Quilters Guild.
Tina was a member of New Covenant Community Church, Delta, PA.
Her awards included District Award of Merit, and Silver Beaver.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a son; Scott I. Volz (Crescentia), Dubuque, IA, and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA.A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 30 at the church from 7-9 PM.Burial will be in Quarryville Cemetery.
