Thomas E. Mitchell, age 58, of Paradise, PA died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.He was born on Thursday, October 13, 1955, a son of Pauline E. Ober Mitchell of Paradise and the late William J. Mitchell.He was the grandson of the late Jacob R. and Anna M. (Ritz) Ober and William F. and Jenni M. (Donley) Mitchell.
Tom was last employed by Nissin Foods in Lancaster for the past 24 years.
Surviving in addition to his mother are five siblings, Doris L. "Rainy" Mitchell of Paradise, Sylvia A. wife of Francis M. Ottey of Lancaster, Suzanne C. Mitchell of Lancaster, John W. husband of Susan L. Wenger Mitchell of Kinzers, Jacob R. Mitchell of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and cousins.He was preceded in death by a sister Cynthia P. Mitchell.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 1:00PM at Georgetown United Methodist Cemetery, 1070 Georgetown Road, Bart, PA.Kindly omit flowers.
