Thomas C. Galbreath, 91, of Peach Bottom, PA went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2015.He was the husband of Shirley M. Feiler Galbreath for 63 years.He was the son of the late John M. and Edith Stubbs Galbreath.Tom was a lifelong farmer in Fulton Township.After retirement he worked for Fulton Township and served as their treasurer for several years.He was a lifelong member of Little Britain Presbyterian Church and belonged to Fulton Grange for over 65 years.
In his youth he was very active in the Community 4H Program.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children:Elaine, wife of David Knight, Oxford, Joyce, wife of Clifford Holloway III, Peach Bottom, Peggy, wife of Jim Gordon, Peach Bottom, Tom, husband of Randi Bledsoe, Nottingham, and Sandy, wife of Bob Lee, Quarryville.He also has 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.He is survived by two sisters, Margaret Murr of West Chester and Anne Bell of Whiting NJ.He was preceded in death by a brother J. Maurice Galbreath and sister, Rebecca Quinn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11 am at Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom with Rev. Thomas Milligan officiating.Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Britain Presbyterian Church organ fund.
