Theresa M. Mcmahon

Theresa M. McMahon, 68, of East Second Street, Quarryville, PA died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA.Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Jean Fugolino Cherico.
She was a very faithful and active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Quarryville where she participated in the prayer group.
Theresa loved spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and storytelling.She also has written a children's book yet to be published.
She is survived by three children, Shannon L. (Jeff) Swearer of Oxford, Sean A. McMahon of Willow Street, Dawn Marie Sweeney of Lansdowne; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Swearer, Nicholas Swearer , Sarah Katherine Sweeney, Edward Joseph Sweeney; two siblings, Anthony and Johane Cherico, both of Wilmington, DE; and numerous extended family which went well beyond herown biological family.She was loved by all.
A Memorial Mass of celebration will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00AM with Rev. Mark Speitel as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will be in Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE.A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00AM until the time of mass.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA 17566.
