"Death is swallowed up in victory!" Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has won the victory over sin and death (1 Cor. 15:54-57). Therefore, whoever believes in Him will live even if he dies (John 11:25).

Our family is suffering the earthly loss of our beloved mother, grandma, sister. But we take joy and comfort in knowing that she is home in Heaven with her Savior. Thelma R. Homsher, age 74, of Kinzers, PA, passed away at her home on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was reunited in heaven with her husband Frederick J. Homsher who passed away on April 4, 2021. She was born in Ephrata, daughter of the late B. Wilmer & Jennie Horning Martin. She was an active member of Calvary Monument Bible Church of Paradise, where she was involved with the children's ministry, AWANA, and junior church. Along with her late husband they served together as houseparents at Christ's Home of Paradise. She worked for W.L. Zimmerman & Sons of Intercourse. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, and reading. Surviving is a daughter Rhoda wife of Nathan Parker of Quinton, NJ, 4 grandchildren: Lila, Lauren, Caden and Noah, 7 siblings: Sharyn wife of Galen Newswanger of New Holland, Richard husband of Judy Yeager Martin of Alabama, Julia wife of Gerald Sauder of Leola, Kathy wife of James Blank of Quarryville, Debra wife of Dale Weaver of East Earl, Ben husband of Darlene Weiler Martin of Lancaster, Jane wife of Ed Hollinger of East Earl.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA 17562.
