Obituary

Thelma Loraine Stohl Cramer, 90, of Marticville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at St. Anne's Retirement Community, Columbia, PA.
She was the wife of the late Howard W. Cramer, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph F. and Helen Gainor Stohl.
She was a 1942 graduate of Lancaster High School.
In 1969, at the age of 45, Thelma's interest in ceramics became the catalyst for her opening Cramer's Ceramic shop in the basement of her home.After two years, with her business blossoming, her husband constructed a new building in Marticville where she taught classes in painting and decorating techniques.She operated the well known shop for 25 years and treasured lifelong friendships with many people through her work.
Thelma enjoyed vacationing at the beach in Asbury Park, NJ with family, camping at the Pequea Silver Mines and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Howard W. Cramer Jr. and wifeKathleen of Landisville; 3 granddaughters: Melissa, wife of Seth Obetz of Manheim, Michelle,wife of John Hallahan of Lebanon,Melinda, wife of Dr. Amir Haghighat of Panama City Beach, FL and 6 great grandchildren.
The Funeral service will be held at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PAon Tuesday, June 17th at 11 AM. The burial will be in Marticville United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
