Tessa L. Lefever

Tessa L. Lefever, 82, formerly of Strasburg, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Ephrata Manor where she resided.  She was the wife of the late Lloyd D. "Lefty" Lefever who died April 14, 2011.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Lucille Harnish and step daughter of Paul "Yite" Lefever.

Tess had previously been employed as a nurse at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was a member of the former Paul R. Strubel Post #8710 VFW.  Tess served as a past president of the Strasburg Area Women's Club, treasurer of the Strasburg Swimming Association, and participated with the Strasburg Ambulance Association.

She is survived by a daughter, Kelly S. wife of Patrick S. Peet, a son Philip P. husband of Teresa Kepple Lefever; a granddaughter Haley; 2 step grandchildren, Tyler and Eric; 3 step great-grandchildren; a half-brother Jeffrey husband of Lesa Lefever; and a half-sister, Tamera wife of Alan Schrick.

Tess was preceded in death by a daughter, Daphne Lefever.

A celebration of Tessa's life will be held at Ephrata Manor Chapel, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 10:00AM. Inurnment will be in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Murray A. Miller.
