Terry Lee Gardner, age 84, formerly of Willow Street, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Providence Place, Lancaster.  He was the husband of Linda K. Gowie Gardner, for over 43 years.  Born in Hazelton, he was the son of the late Elmer and Evelyn Bicking Gardner.  Terry was of the Christian faith and enjoyed the music of that faith.   He proudly served his country in the US Air Force where he worked on Airplanes.  He worked as a milkman, delivering door to door.  He also worked for Scott paper, Wyeth Pharmaceutical, Dupont and Boeing.  Terry was a member of the Masons, West Chester Lodge #322.  He played drums and taught special needs children to play the drums.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to dinner with his wife, Linda, going to yard sales, collecting duck figurines and fishing equipment, and visiting with family and friends.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly L. wife of Scott Newhouse of Lincoln DE, a grandson, William "Scotty" Chandler Newhouse, and a sister, Marlene Philyaw of GA.  He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Shirley Firth and Lanny Gardner.

There will be a funeral at Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10:30 until time of service.  Private interment will take place in the Weisenberg Lutheran Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Terry's memory to Grane Home Health and Hospice, 1200 Camp Hill Bypass, Suite 205, Camp Hill, PA 17011.  shiveryfuneralhome.com
