Terri Lynn Orshesky

Terri Lynn Orshesky, born October 26, 1964, passed away peacefully at home, in her sleep, Saturday, July 11, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with lung disease brought on by rheumatoid arthritis. She was born in Coatesville, the middle child to Shirley Ann Orshesky(Shank) of Atglen, PA and the first born to James Matthew (MaryAnn) Orshesky of Coatesville, PA.
Terri was a kind and warm-hearted person who loved and cared deeply for others and always looked for the good in people. She loved to help and give, without hesitation, and never expected anything in return. She was a great cook at home and made sure her family was always well fed and cared for. She enjoyed nature and trips to the mountains. She always put time aside to spend with her family and friends. She cared deeply for animals and especially cherished dogs - she never met one she did not like. Terri worked various jobs in her life, but she would tell you her greatest accomplishment of all was becoming a Mother to her adored son Jonny, her "champ."
Terri is survived, in addition to her parents, by her son: Jonathan Joseph Arasin and his wife Melissa of Gap, PA; as well as her previous husband, Walter J. Arasin of Gap, PA. She is also survived by two compassionate and deeply devoted sisters: Tina Hulme Marshman (Dan LeGates) of Christiana, PA., and Ann Marie Orshesky (Larry DeSimone) of Gap, PA, two loving and protective brothers: Thomas Paul Hulme of Middleburg, PA and James Samuel Orshesky (Stephanie Hoffman) of Shamokin, PA. She was also blessed with 8 nieces, 5 nephews, 10 great nieces, and 5 great nephews, who she loved equally. Terri shared a special bond with her nephew Cody J Orshesky, who was there to help and comfort her anytime, day or night, if even to simply hold her hand; his caring for his "Aunt T" was truly appreciated and meant the world to her.
A celebration of Terri's life will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to your local humane league or the arthritis foundation. The family is also accepting donations to help offset her final expenses, the link to which is provided below.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who have helped along her journey, especially her physical therapist Gina and lifelong friend Betty Eutsey.
