Teresa L. Flerx

Teresa L. Flerx, age 56 of Honey Brook, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her home.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Sally Griest Dowlin of Holtwood, wife of the late Richard Dowlin.  She graduated from Twin Valley High School, class of 1985.  She had her own housecleaning business, and in her free time, she loved watching safari videos.  Surviving besides her mom is a son; Adam James "AJ" McCoy of Honey Brook, her companion of 26 years, Adam Kent McCoy of Honey Brook, 2 siblings; Robert Flerx of Millerstown, PA, and Wendy, wife of Kevin E. Ruhl, Sr. of Pequea, and 4 nieces and nephews; Areil Flerx, Robert Flerx, Jr., Noah Ruhl, and Rachel Ruhl.  A funeral service will take place at Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street Quarryville, on Wednesday, March 6th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  There will be a viewing time at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.  Interment will be in the Eastland Friends Burial Ground.
