Sylvia Stoltzfus, age 55, of 5047 Old Philadelphia Pike, Kinzers, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at home.  She was the wife of Sylvan J. Stoltzfus.  Born in Paradise, she was the daughter of the late Abner and Annie Stoltzfus Esh.  Sylvia was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by 8 children: Ivan E. husband of Sadie Lynn Smoker Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Anna E. wife of David J. Smucker of Narvon, Marian E. wife of Christ D. Stoltzfus of Strasburg, Melvin E., Sylvan J. Jr., Jonas E., Lydia Ann, Andrew E., all at home, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 7 siblings: Gideon S. husband of Priscilla Esh Esh of Ronks, John J. husband of Sadie Zook Esh of New Holland, Ivan S. husband of Elizabeth Lantz Esh of Paradise, Abner K. Jr. husband of Rebecca Lee Esh of Newburg, PA, Ephraim S. husband of Martha King Esh of Paradise, Mervin S. husband of Arie Blank Esh of Newburg, PA, Anna S. wife of Abner J. King of Gordonville, 5 step-siblings: John David husband of Lydia Ann Ebersol Allgyer of Hillsboro, WV, Edna wife of Amos Beiler of Cochranville, Mervin husband of Sylvia Stoltzfus Allgyer of Howard, PA, Abner Jr. husband of Katie King Allgyer of Gap, Sally wife of David Stoltzfus of Manton, MI.  She was preceded in death by an infant son, brother Jonas S. late husband of Ruth Esh Riehl of Paradise, step-mother Mary Allgyer Esh and step-brother Ephraim Allgyer.
