Susan L. Moore

Susan L. Moore, age 72, of Christiana, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 28, 2026. She was the wife of the late Norman "Duke" Moore, who passed away on September 8, 2019. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Adrian & Kathryn Arnold Shultz. She graduated from Conestoga Valley High School class of 1971. She worked for Bank of Lancaster County/PNC for 35 years retiring in 2019. After retirement she worked as a school van driver for Althouse Transportation for 6 years. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo, camping, watching her grandchildren play sports/activities and her many adventures with her soul sister Lori Bryson. She was a lifetime member of the Christiana Fire Company. Surviving are 2 children: William husband of Ashley Grace Semple of Atglen, Wendy wife of Danny Peters of Christiana, 4 grandchildren: Tiffani wife of Bruce Leibig, Ashlee Peters, Elizabeth Semple, Daniel Peters, 1 great grandson Ambrose Leibig, 3 sisters: Karen wife of Joe Bender of Millersville, Judy wife of the late Richard Barley of Tennessee, Leslie Shultz of Leola. 

A celebration of Sue's life will take place at the Christiana Fire Company, 214 South Bridge Street, Christiana, PA on Saturday, June 6th at 11 a.m., with a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Bob Garvey will be officiating.
