Steven C. Slaymaker

Steven C. Slaymaker, age 58, of Lancaster, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 31, 2023.  He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Aaron & Nancy Andrews Slaymaker.  He worked for Burnham Boilers of Lancaster as a radiant burner production assembler.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grand-babies. He loved going to the mountains, hunting and offshore fishing. He spent much of his time in his garden and fish pond. Always eager to lend a hand, he looked forward to helping others any chance he could. He cherished family heirlooms and history and always looked to expand his collection displays.

Surviving are 4 children:  Joshua husband of Hilary Myers Slaymaker of Landisville, Jordon Slaymaker fiance of Samantha Mardis of Leola, Joel husband of Kayley Suter Slaymaker of Quarryville, Julia Slaymaker companion of Mario Maleski of Manheim, 10 grandchildren, sister Jodi Engle fiance of Joe Bishop of Lancaster and two nieces.

A celebration of life and luncheon is planned for January 28th at the American Legion Post 34, 1388 Arcadia Road, Lancaster from 12 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Conservation Foundation of Lancaster County, 1383 Arcadia Road, Room 200, Lancaster, PA 17601.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, Quarryville.
