Stephen B. Cole

Stephen B. Cole, 77, of Jackson Station Road, Perryville, MD and formerly of New Providence, PA died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Heartland Hospice in Wilmington, DE.He was born in Rising Sun, MD a son of the late Lee Samuel and Alverda Edmiston Cole and was raised in Pleasant Grove, PA, graduating from Quarryville High school.
He had been employed as an auto mechanic and in auto sales, and later as a maintenance mechanic for Continental Container in Phoenixville, PA.
A Korean War Veteran, Mr. Cole served in the US Army.
Mr. Cole was a member of Doric Lodge, DE Free and Accepted Masons.
His hobbies and enjoyments were varied and included blue grass music, going to the Buck tractor pulls and local fairs, fishing, tinkering with cars, and going to Long's Park to feed the park animals.
He is survived by two children, Kevin C. (D. Kim) Cole of Perryville, MD, Ronda (Gary) Rehm of Quarryville, PA; a granddaughter Jessica; 4 step grandchildren, Lauren, Kathryn, Robert, Gregory; a brother James Harold (Joann) Cole of Refton; and a sister Betty Duvall of Chester Springs.He was preceded in death by a grandson Kevin C. Cole, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2:00PM with Pastor R. Blake Deibler officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
