Shirley A. Robinson, age 91, of Cochranville passed away at home on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Robinson Sr. who passed away in 2007.  Born in Boothwyn, she was the daughter of the late John and Carolyn Pilkington Howard. Shirley was a homemaker. She had a passion for horses, both raising and showing them. She loved to cook and was great at it. She also enjoyed gardening with her late husband. Most of all, she loved her family especially all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 children: Robert W. Robinson Jr. of Cochranville, Cindy, wife of Kenneth Chaires of Oxford and Allen E. Robinson of Cochranville, 7 grandchildren: Billy and Shannon Simcox, Amanda Ellingsworth, Josh and Kristen Chaires, and Tyler and Nicholas Robinson, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and a brother John, wife of the late Noreen Howard of Quarryville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Robinson Sr., a daughter, Margie Simcox (1997) and a sister, Barbara Johnston.

A viewing will take place from Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street Christiana PA, 17509 on Tuesday, May 26th from 10 am to 11:30 followed by a grave side service at Mt. Hope United Methodist Cemetery, 4010 Concord Rd. Aston PA, 19014 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org.
