Shirley Feiler

October 27, 1931 – October 4, 2024
Shirley Feiler Galbreath, 92, of Quarryville, passed peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born in Holtwood to Henry and Sarah Feiler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Galbreath, to whom she was married for 63 years before his passing. Shirley was an active member at Little Britain Presbyterian Church for over 70 years, where she served as a Deacon and was a constant helper in the kitchen. She was also active in the Fulton Grange #66 for many years. Shirley was famous for her shoo-fly pies and her love of the Phillies. She especially loved to be with her family, who felt she was the most loving person they ever knew. Shirley is survived by her five children: Elaine Knight, New Providence, Joyce Holloway (Cliff), Peach Bottom, Peggy Gordon (Jim), Peach Bottom, T om Galbreath (Randi), Nottingham, and Sandy Lee (Robert), Quarryville. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Paul, Ernest, Harold and Glenn Feiler and sisters Hazel Lippencott, Helen Small and son-in-law David Knight. The family would like to thank the staff of QPRC for their excellent and loving care of Shirley.
Services will take place from Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Beach Bottom PA 17563, on Wednesday, October 9th At 11 AM with a time to greet the family from 10 AM until the time of service. Pastor Tom Milligan will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Little Britain Presbyterian Church at the address above.
