Shirley Ann Danner

Shirley Ann Danner, 87, formerly of Strasburg, passed away at The Glen at Willow Valley on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.  She was the wife of C. Blaine Danner.  Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Willis F. Harnish and Dorothy "Dot" E. Buzzard Harnish Driscoll, and the step daughter of the late Wayne C. Driscoll.

Shirley graduated from Millersville University, Cum Laude, later receiving her Master's Degree in Education and was a teacher until her retirement.

Her true love was her family and spending quality time with them. She also enjoyed traveling. Traveling to China and throughout both Europe and the United States, including Alaska

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg.

Surviving beside her husband are three children, D. Scott Danner, L. Lucinda "Cindy" wife of Al Dunn, Joni wife of E. Douglas McComsey; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Allen, Andrew, Brad, James and Laura; and a sister Faye wife of Ronald Danner.

A Memorial Service for Shirley will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00AM with Rev. Robert K. Bronkema officiating.  An informal visitation will be held following the service. Interment will be in the adjoining church memorial garden. Arrangements entrusted to Murray A. Miller
