Sandra E. Glackin

Sandra E. Glackin, 76, of New Providence PA, passed away at home, Thursday, February 22, 2018 after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.Sandra was the wife of Roy M. Glackin. She and Roy would have celebrated 60 years of marriage November 22, 2018.
Sandra was a homemaker.She had served as the building manager of the Solanco Fair Association for 29 years, and had also served as a past president of the Quarryville Fire Company Auxiliary for 9 years.For many years, she enjoyed babysitting for many of the children in the area.She was a Member of Memorial Methodist Church, Quarryville.Sandra had also been involved in the Scouting organizations for many years.
Born in Lancaster PA, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Isadore E. Garvin Bard.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 children; Tamara K. Calhoun (Jeff), New Providence, Roy M. Glackin, Jr. (Kristy L.), Pequea, Deborah L. Flahart, Stevens, Christine Loos, West Lawn, 10 grandchildren; Ryan, Anna, Emily, Jessi, Shane, Patrick, Michael, Ruby, Joel, Clay, 3 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and her sister, Patricia E. Bard, Quarryville.She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald E. Bard, and a nephew Robert E. Bard.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Memorial Methodist Church, 109 South Hess Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Viewings will be held at the church Friday evening March 2, from 6:30-8:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:30-11:00 AM.
