Samuel B. Lantz

Samuel B. Lantz, age 31, of 4974 Strasburg Road, Kinzers, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 after being fatally injured while cutting firewood.  He was the husband of Sadie F. Petersheim Lantz, daughter of Daniel L. and Elizabeth Fisher Petersheim.  Samuel was born in Kinzers, son of Benjamin G. and Anna Blank Lantz.  He was a self-employed contractor and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  Surviving besides his wife and their parents are 4 children: Bethany P., age 6, Daniel Lavern, age 4, Jacob Andrew, age 2, and James Alan, age 2 months, all at home, 7 siblings: Emauel B. husband of Lydia Stoltzfus Lantz of Baltimore, MD, David B. husband of Barbie Kauffman Lantz of Kinzers, Barbie R. wife of Reuben S. King of Honey Brook, Betty B. wife of Wilmer K. King of Morgantown, Raymond K. husband of Elizabeth Stoltzfus Lantz of Kinzers, Ruth B., Martha B. both of Kinzers, and a grandmother Emma Miller Lantz of Gordonville.  He was preceded in death by grandparents Benuel S. and Annie Esh Blank, and David Lantz.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 9 a.m. EST at the late home, 4974 Strasburg Road, Kinzers.  Interment will be in the Gap Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call from the time of this notice until time of service.  shiveryfuneralhome.com
