Mrs. Rosemary Heron entered into eternal rest on June 30th, 2015 at the age of 92 in Charlotte, NC.She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Calvin H. and Rose Blose (nee Trainor) on January 17th, 1923.Mrs. Heron married Francis J. Heron on November 28th, 1946 in West New York, NJ and subsequently located to Wilmington, DE in 1960.
A devout member of St. Ann's Church in Wilmington, Mrs. Heron worked for many years in the banking and investment fields and believed sincerely her greatest accomplishment and joy was being a mother to her three children.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and granddaughter, Colleen Heron as well as her sisters Catherine Jordan and Helen Frohlich. She is survived by her sons Frank and his wife Chris of Quarryville, PA, Matt and his wife Jane of Keyport, NJ, and daughter Teresa Hammons and her husband R.E. of Charlotte, NC.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Corleto-Latina Funeral Home, 808 North Union Street, Wilmington, DE from 9:00AM – 10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 2013 Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington, DE at 11:00AM.
