Ronald Lee Snyder, Sr, 69, of Maple Lane, New Providence, PA, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2014, at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.He was the husband of the late Judith A. Helfer Snyder who passed away in 2007.
Ronald had retired from Yellow Freight, Lancaster, after 33 years.
He was a member of VFW Post 1690.Ronald enjoyed cooking and woodworking.
He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Bernard and Frances Holden Snyder.
He is survived by 5 children; Lori wife of Ty Gable, Conestoga, PA, Daphne wife of Jack Fisher, Lancaster, PA, Sharon L. wife of Stuart Martin, Willow Street, PA, Ronald L. Jr. husband of Janice Snyder, Lancaster, PA, Tracy wife of Michael Kingsboro, Mt Joy, PA, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
A memorial service will be held at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. The burial will be in Quarryville Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 AM.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave. Suite 101, Harrisburg PA 17110.
