Ronald Eugene Schneider

Ronald E. Schneider, 80, died unexpectedly on January 31, 2019, at a Woodlands Texas hospital.He was born March 25, 1938, in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, the son of John P. Schneider and Fanny (Yuninger) Schneider.
Ronald graduated from Solanco High School, Class of 1956.Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1977 as a Cryptologic Technician.He achieved the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (CTRCS) and retired after 20 years of faithful service.He then continued his naval service in the civil government with the Office of Naval Intelligence, ultimately retiring in 1995.
While home on leave in Quarryville, he met the love of his life, Angela Cutugno.They were married on February 22, 1964.In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his children, Karen Willey and Kevin Schneider, and their families – Scott Willey, Spencer Willey, Alexandra O'Connell, Daniel O'Connell, John O'Connell, Jude O'Connell, Lorah Schneider, Christopher Schneider and his niece, Lisa (Schneider) Remley.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA 17566.Private interment will be in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery.Those who wish to remember Ronald in a special way may make gifts in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Quarryville, PA. www.reynoldsfuneralhome.net.
