Romaine C. Geib

Romaine C. Geib, 85 of Lancaster, PA passed away on January 19, 2026 at Brethren Village. She was the youngest of 5 children to the late Herbert N. and Odella V. Harris Creter. In her early years, she was employed by several manufacturing companies, while later in life she worked at various retail stores, including the Stanley Black & Decker Outlet Store at Rockvale Square where she was affectionately known as "The Tool Lady" or "Lettuce". Surviving besides her only son, William (Mike) husband of Karen Jamison are a granddaughter, Brittney Jamison, wife of Kyle Motell, Lancaster; a grandson, Brandon Jamison, Mount Pleasant, SC; a great grandson, Brooks Motell; a brother-in-law, Robert Sizemore, New Providence; and numerous nieces & nephews. Romaine was preceded in death by her sisters, Miriam Sizemore and Irene Eager, and her brothers, Hiram Creter and Herbert Creter.

Funeral services will be held at Shivery Funeral Home in Paradise, 3214 Lincoln Hwy East, Paradise PA 17562 on Saturday, January 31st at 2 pm. There will be a viewing from 1:30-2pm. Interment will be private in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Brethren Village.
