Roger L. Keys, 69, of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home following a brave battle with cancer. He was the husband of Judy Pierce Keys. They had celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Roger was a mechanic, working at several garages in the area, most recently at Church's Garage, Peach Bottom, PA.
He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Susquehanna Swingers Square Dance Club.
He was born in Narrows, VA, a son of the late Sheridan and Kathryn Stables Keys.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 6 daughters: Melissa Cubler, Eddystone, PA, Angela Conrad , New Providence, PA, Jennifer Osborne, Port Deposit, MD, Debra Keys, Rising Sun, MD, Kerry Levering, Peach Bottom, PA, Kristy Keys, Peach Bottom, PA,: 13 grandchildren, Michael and Bryan Justice, Shadow and Shay Cason, Anthony Strianese, Jr., Brittany Osborne, John Suhobrus, Jr., Jeremy Keys, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Jacob Levering, Emma and Travis Rothenhoeffer, Jr,:7 great grandchildren; Caden Rutt, Michael Justice Jr., Cason Eckardt, Mason Wiser, Jordyn Suhobrus, Rylen Mathews, Brennon Wiser,, and a sister, Wilma Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held at New Harvest Church of God, 201 Connelly Road, Rising Sun, MD., on Saturday. April 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Mullins officiating.
