Roger E. Hartsoe

Roger E. Hartsoe, age 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 14, 2024 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Russel and Laura Hartsoe. Roger was the husband of Lucy Watson Hartsoe, who he celebrated 50 years of marriage with. Roger was a member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church. He was a dairy farmer, iron worker, and supervisor of Washington D.C. Subway Systems. Roger loved bluegrass gospel music and enjoyed electronics and computers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and daughters. Besides his wife, Roger is survived by 3 daughters; Donna and Sherri Hartsoe, and Jo Hartsoe wife of Mike Murphy, grandson; Chase husband of Lauren, a brother; Jim Hartsoe and 2 great-grandchildren. Roger is proceeded in death by a brother Glenn Hartsoe. Roger will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial service will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
