Roberta Lee McLaughlin, age 87 of Lancaster and formerly of Christiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Glen Sr. and Ruth Wint Kline. Roberta was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Coatesville.  She worked for over 30 years as a second grade teacher for Octorara Elementary School.  She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and she loved reading, knitting, playing Pinochle, doing crossword puzzles and most of all her family.  Surviving her are 2 children; Cindy Lee McLaughlin, companion of Doug Rehm of New Providence, Michael, husband of Michele Lutz McLaughlin of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 siblings; Barb Rice of Thorndale, companion of Bill Bachman, Joanne, wife of George Bodnar of Coatesville, Star Kline, wife of Mike McCool of Boyds, MD, Ethel, wife of Jim Tosh of Germansville, PA, and Glen Kline, Jr. of Alburtis, PA.  She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Patrick McLaughlin, 2 grandchildren, her longtime companion, William F. Bittle, Jr. and 4 siblings, Maralyn Jean Newman-Wirtz, Carl Kline, Karen Satkowski and Merle Kline.

A celebration of life service will take place at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Ave, Coatesville, on Saturday, February 21st at 11 a.m. with a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Reverend Joseph Klinger will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Roberta's honor to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, goodshepcoatesville.org or to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org.
