Robert Wright

Robert (Bob) Wright, age 79 of Quarryville, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.  Bob was the husband of Alva Mae Bennett Wright with whom he would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on December 30th.  Bob, born in West Chester, PA, is preceded in death by Helen and Alvin Bennett (mother/father-in-law.) Bob was a skilled mechanic and applied his talent to automobiles, steelwork, and industrial machinery. Bob retired from the workforce in 2009 after working 20+ years for International Envelope.  Bob enjoyed drag racing, NASCAR, classic cars, football and baseball. However, Bob's passion was his family. Bob is survived by his wife Mae Wright, son Rob (Jaime) Wright, grandson Xander Wright, nephew Thomas Kitts and sister-in-law Theresa (David) Borsello. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert's honor to Hospice and Community care, P.O.
