Robert D. Swinehart

Robert D. Swinehart, Sr. passed away on October 19, 2018 at Lancashire Hall at the age of 89.He was just four months shy of his 90th birthday on February 19.He was born in Lancaster to the late Chester and Martha (Stock) Swinehart.
Robert is survived by his wife of 70 years Clara Mae (Hamilton) Swinehart.They resided most of their lives in the Strasburg and New Providence area.
He loved collecting model military airplanes and received 2nd place at the Lampeter Fair for a balsa wood F-16 airplane.
He is survived by two children, Mary Swinehart and Robert D. (Karen) Swinehart, 2 grandchildren, Daniel E. Swinehart and Kimberly (Darren) Nettleton; a great grandchild Brielle Nettleton; and 2 sisters, Martha Long and Ruth (Randy) Quimby of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Lloyd, John, Raymond, Richard, Paul and a sister Mary Jane Sultzbach.
