Robert R. Shissler, Sr.

Robert R. Shissler Sr., age 87 of Quarryville, passed away on June 11, 2026. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Rineer Shissler who passed October 14, 2017. He was born in New Providence, son of the late Robert V. and Frances Hart Shissler. He enjoyed hunting and going to the mountains. He was a hard worker. He is survived by 4 children: Patricia wife of Charles Rhoades Jr. of Quarryville, Bob Jr. husband of Judy Shissler of New Providence, Thomas husband of Bernadette Shissler of Lancaster, and Michelle wife of Brian Evans of Quarryville, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, and a sister, Mary wife of Leroy Devonshire of New Providence. A private service will take place at the convenience of the family with internment in Mt. Eden Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pequea Valley Sportsman Association, 195 Rawlinsville Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 or to the Paradise Sportsman's Association, 36 Sportsmans Drive, Paradise, PA 17562.
