Robert M. Sheaffer, 78, of Loop Road, Quarryville, PA died Sunday morning, December 14, 2014.He and his wife Shelby Wilburn Sheaffer were married in 1987. He was born in Christiana, PA a son of the late Milton and Gertrude Moore Sheaffer.
Mr. Sheaffer had previously worked for both Media Heights and Tanglewood golf courses as a groundskeeper and then for American Infrastructure Quarry in Paradise as a front-end loader operator.
His enjoyments were his back yard pool, hunting and fishing, and NASCAR.
Surviving beside his wife is a son Wade (Denise) Sheaffer of Nickel Mines; 2 step sons, Robert Myers (Deb McNatt) of Holtwood, Jeff (Jen) Myers of New Providence; a step daughter Barbara (Jimmy) Flanary of Grandbury, TX; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dee (Gene) Handle of Quarryville, and Mildred Graham of Quarryville.
Robert was preceded in death by 2 sons, Paul & James Sheaffer; 2 grandchildren Davey and Shelby; a great grandchild Justin; and a step son David Myers.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00AM with Pastor R. Blake Deibler officiating.
