Robert J. Kilgour Jr., of Conestoga, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, where he received outstanding compassionate care. He was born on March 9, 1947, in Bethlehem, Pa., to the late Robert J. Kilgour Sr. and Elizabeth (Fidmik) Kilgour. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Anderson) Kilgour, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Bob graduated from the University of Scranton in 1969 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He worked for Armstrong World Industries for almost 40 years, retiring as Manager in Health, Safety, and Environmental Services. In retirement, he volunteered at LGH for 12 years. His greatest joy during those years was taking long walks with the secession of five Goldens, all adopted as Senior Rescues from Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, where Bob also volunteered. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his 2 sons, Michael and Patrick (Maureen) and 4 grandchildren.

There will be an informal drop-in time for friends and family at Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on October 1st from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness in Bob's memory.
