Robert Lee Auble

Robert Lee Auble, Sr, 69, of Carnation Drive, New Providence, PA died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital.  He and his wife Susan Diane Hanna Auble celebrated 34 years of marriage.  Born in York, PA he was the son of William Johnson and Betty Lou Auble.

Bob had been employed as a uke heavy equipment driver for Compass Quarries from which he retired after 23 years of service.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, Peach Bottom, PA.

Bob had varied interests including CB radios, collecting die-cast model cars, remote control airplanes, going to yard sales and fishing.

Surviving beside his wife Susan are four children, Robert Lee Auble, Jr., Tanya Annette (Ryan) Doane, Angelia Suzanne (James Dugan) Simpson, Joseph Robert Auble; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 siblings, James Johnson, Linda Horton, Elizabeth Johnson; and a half-brother, Terry Burkholder.

A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery, 310 Pilottown Road, Peach Bottom, PA on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00AM.
