Rita M. Lane

Rita M. Lane, 92, formerly of East Main Street, Strasburg, PA died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Manor Care, Lancaster where she resided since 2008.She was the widow of Robert B. Lane who died April 29, 2008.Born in Stoneham, MA she was the daughter of the late Salvador and Stella Alvino Geremonte.
Rita was a member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Strasburg.She retired from American Airlines in 1972 after 21 years of service.
An avid artist, she enjoyed painting and she was an exceptional seamstress. Mrs. Lane also was a collector of dolls which gave her much pleasure.
Rita will be deeply missed by her friends, Peter and Linda Sydorko, Elaine and Jack Tomb, and Rev. Herbert and Ann Lohr.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 1:00PM with Rev. Vaughn Glover officiating.
