Richard O. Quin

Richard O. Quin, age 99, formerly of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Calvert Manor of Rising Sun, MD. He was the husband of the late Dorothy C. Huth Quin, who passed away on November 13, 2018. He was born in Pottsville, PA, son of the late Theodore & Nettie Hyde Quin. He worked as a District Supervisor for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy served in the Armed Guard during W.W. II. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, remodeling homes and fixing cars. Surviving are 2 sons: Richard A. husband of Barbara Cullinan Quin of Quarryville, John E. "Jack" husband of Anne Tugman Quin of Lewis, DE, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Francis & William Quin, Peg McHugh and Doris Cully.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 955 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA, on Wednesday, July 27th at 11 a.m., with Rev. Olusola Adewole officiating. There will be a viewing at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Final Commendation and Farewell will be in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery.
