Richard Alan Lowrey Jr., age 59, of Akron, passed away on January 6, 2026. He was the son of Joyce E. Stanley Garver of Gordonville and Richard A. Lowrey Sr. of Coatesville. He enjoyed golfing, being a jokester, and living the beach life. Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Surviving besides his parents are 2 siblings: Tammy wife of Robert Jenter of Paradise and Paul engaged to Aimee White of Ephrata and 2 daughters Lesley wife of Brandon Lange, and Hayden Lowrey both of FL.

A memorial service will take place from Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, on Wednesday, January 14th at 11 am with a time to greet the family from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Richard's name to National Living Donor Assistance Center by visiting their website: www.livingdonorassistance.org

My body is not broken that I am aware of, but my mind, heart, and soul are in need of their tape and super glue!

I have left so many down and I don't know how to mend the hurts and disappointments! I am truly sorry!

I wish I wasn't a broken man and could have been stronger!
