Richard L. Miller, 47, of Kirkwood, PA died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital.He and his wife Wendy B. Reinhart Miller celebrated 10 years of marriage on April 24, 2014.Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Joyce Stevens wife of Robert Barron of Holtwood and the late Robert L. Miller.
Richard was employed by Penn DOT on a road crew, and also was a truck driver.
He enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons and shooting pool with a local pool league.
Surviving beside his wife and mother are two children, Tasha L. Butler and Galen M. Bleacher, both of New Providence; 3 granddaughters, Alexus, Kandace, Mikalen; 4 brothers, Oscar Miller of Holtwood, Brian (Sherry) Miller of Holtwood, Robert (Milina) Miller, Jr. of New Jersey, Robert (Robin) Barron of Holtwood; and a sister Scarlett (Chris) Blough of New Jersey.He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel J. Miller.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at 2:00PM with Pastor Kenneth Hash officiating.Interment will follow in Colerain Baptist Cemetery.Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6:00-8:00PM and again in Friday from 1:30PM until the time of service.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Miller's memory to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
