Richard B. Ingram, Sr.

Richard B. Ingram, Sr., age 98, passed away at the home of his son on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.  He was the husband of the late Mary Margaret McFalls Ingram and the late Joan Walls Ingram.  He was born in Downingtown, son of the late William & Clara Gray Ingram.  In the past, he worked in the maintenance department at Continental Can Company of Philadelphia.  He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the Army Air Corps.  He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, and tractor pulls.  Surviving is a son Richard B. Jr. husband of Linda Kline Ingram of Coatesville, 3 step-children: Norman Walls of Parkesburg, Linda Walls of West Chester, Kim Walls of Malvern, 4 grandchildren: Bruce, Shane, Margaret and Mary, 6 great-grandchildren: Chance, Colton, Zeke, Corbin, Colton, Ashley, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Maxine Schollenberger and Margaret Touchton,  He was preceded in death by a son Edgar Ingram, step-daughter Kathy Lawrence and 5 siblings.

Funeral service will take place from the Pequea Baptist Church, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, PA on Friday, September 26th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Clint Shondelmyer officiating.  Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will take place in Hopewell Methodist Cemetery, 852 Hopewell Road, Downingtown, PA, at approximately 2 p.m.
