Richard "Dick" Dagen, 89, of Birch Drive, Willow Street, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at Hamilton Arms Center.He was born in Lancaster, a son of the late Chester L. and Mable Hoffman Dagen, Sr.Dick was the husband of the late Alice Hershey Dagen.
Dick retired from ALCOA where he was employed as a setup man and machine operator.
He served his country in the US Navy during WWII as a Motor Machinist's Mate Third Class.
Dick was a member of Boehm's United Methodist Church, Willow Street.
He is survived by twin daughters, Donna married to P. Barry Wilson of Willow Street, Dawn Ober of Mountville; 3 grandchildren, Keith S. Corrigan, Holly L. Adams, Troy R. Ober; 7 great grandchildren, Jackson P. Corrigan, Landyn T. Ober, Hailey E. Lockner, Connor R. Adams, Jayden M. Corrigan, Olivia E. Ober, and Elizabeth A. Corrigan; and a sister Virginia A. Mattern of Mountville. Dick was preceded in death by a brother Chester L. Dagen, Jr. and a sister Elizabeth J. Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at Boehm's United Methodist Church, 13 West Boehm's Road, Willow Street, PA on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00AM with Rev. Chris Eden officiating.Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
