Reuben L. Stoltzfus, age 83, of 200 Brick Mill Road, Christiana, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025.  He was the husband of Sadie L. Fisher Stoltzfus.  Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Roy A. and Lizzie Lapp Stoltzfus.  Reuben was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 children: Elmer F. husband of Lydia Petersheim Stoltzfus of Paradise, Henry F. husband of Katie Esh Stoltzfus of Peach Bottom, Katie F. wife of Elam S. Beiler of Fountain City, IN, Roy F. husband of Lori Shirk Stoltzfus of Leola, Melvin F. husband of Sadie Mae Lapp Stoltzfus of Christiana, Rebecca F. wife of Ephraim K. Esch of New Providence, Emma F. wife of Elmer K. Blank of Christiana, and Benuel F. Stoltzfus of WY, 51 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 siblings: Annie L. wife of John Fisher of Ronks, Benuel L. husband of Rebecca Fisher Stoltzfus of Leola, Leon L. husband of Lydia Glick Stoltzfus of Leola, and Rachel L. wife of the late Eli Dienner of Parkesburg.  He was preceded in death by 5 grandchildren: Sadie S. Beiler, Ephraim M. Stoltzfus, Marlin Wayne Blank, Suzanne S. Esch, Laura Sue Blank, and 8 siblings: Abner L. Stoltzfus, Daniel L. late husband of Dorothy Beiler Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Henry L. late husband of Lydia Petersheim Stoltzfus of Gordonville, twin brother Roy L. late husband of Emma Petersheim Stoltzfus of Leola, Ivan L. late husband of Rebecca Fisher Stoltzfus Stoltzfus wife of Samuel Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Elmer L. and his wife Rachel Miller Stoltzfus, Sadie L. and her husband John Esh, and Rebecca L. Stoltzfus.

Funeral service will take place at the home of Elmer Blank, 194 Brick Mill Road, Christiana on Saturday, June 14 at 9 a.m. EST with interment in the Fishers Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until time of service.
