Rebecca S. Dienner

Rebecca S. Dienner, age 89, formerly of Gap, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Tel Hai Retirement Community.  She went home to be with her Lord and reunited with her beloved husband, Gideon S. Dienner who passed away on August 11, 2016.  Rebecca was born in Lancaster on May 18, 1936, daughter of the late Amos and Rachel King Stoltzfus.  She was a member of Spring Garden Church in Kinzers.  She loved to go to Florida and play lots of games with her many friends and she loved watching her grandchildren play baseball.

She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.  Surviving are 6 children: Amos husband of Marty Beiler Dienner of Gordonville, Sam husband of Barbie Riehl Dienner of Gap, Anna Mae wife of Elam Riehl of Gap, Verna wife of Sam Riehl of Ephrata, Ruth wife of Alvin Beiler of Honey Brook, John husband of Thelma King Dienner of Gordonville, 24 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren, and 3 siblings:Samuel husband of Rebecca Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Amos husband of Sadie Stoltzfus of Strasburg, Daniel husband of Hannah Stoltzfus of Juniata. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and 2 siblings.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 21, at 3:30 p.m. at Spring Garden Church, 5197 Old Philadelphia Pike, Kinzers.  There will be a viewing at the church on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.  Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
